Kane Brown Ascends to Number 1 with Heaven
Kane Brown has got himself his second No. 1 on Billboard’s Country airplay chart. Heaven rises from 2 to 1 on the list dated May 19th. There is a 4 percent increase to 45.3 million audience impressions last week, according to Nielsen Music. On the Hot Country Songs charts, “Heaven” holds at its number 2 position. It sits just behind Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line’s “Meant to Be” for an eight week. The Hot Country Songs chart combines airplay, streaming, and sales data. Apparently, Kane Brown felt Heaven was special and knew it would do well. However, he was surprised to find it hit number 1 overall.
Kane Brown found himself atop Country Airplay with “What Ifs” featuring Lauren Alaina, in October 2017. It led the way on Hot Country Songs for five weeks. Heaven is the fourth single from Kane Brown’s self-titled debut album. The album debuted on top of the Top Country Albums chart back in December 2016. The record’s first two singles, “Used to Love You Sober” and “Thunder in the Rain” peaked at numbers 35 and 43, respectively, on Country Airplay.
Kane Brown Isn’t the Only One Climbing the Charts

In November of 2017, Luke Combs scored his first number 1 with “When It Rains It Pours”. “Beautiful” is one of five new tracks on a deluxe version of Combs’ debut LP. The LP is titled “This One’s for You You Too”, due on June 1st. The original version of the album made it to the top of the Top Country Albums chart in June of 2017. The song starts with 44,000 downloads sold and debuts as Luke Combs’ first number 1 on Country Digital Song Sales. Most noteworthy, “Beautiful” also arrives with 5.6 million U.S. streams and enters Country Streaming Songs at number 12.
