6ix9ine & Nicki Minaj sit Atop On-Demand Streaming Songs Chart
‘Fefe’ is the first number 1 on the chart for 6ix9ine and Murda Beatz. Most noteworthy, this is only Nicki Minaj’s second. The song has given 6ix9ine his first feature in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. However, now it is officially the artists first number 1 on Billboard’s On-Demand Streaming Songs chart. Not bad. The song features Nicki Minaj and Murda Beatz and has risen from the 2-spot to number 1. According to Nielsen Music, the chart dated September 1st will feature “Fefe” at the top as it accrues 24.8 million on-demand audio streams to lead the tally. On-Demand streaming songs ranks the tracks that have the most on-demand audio streams in a week.
Additionally, worth noting, “Fefe” takes the top spot from Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode” which had conquered the charts the past two weeks. Sicko Mode falls 1 spot with a modest 24.6 million on-demand audio streams.

Although this is 6ix9ine’s first number 1 on the chart – before the rapper made it to the top with “Fefe” he placed rather well with other songs. Previously the rapper had peaked at number 16 with his song “Billy” on March 10th. Additionally, “Fefe” also marks Nicki’s first number 1 on the chart since “Bang Bang” with Jessie J and Ariana Grande. Murda Beatz gets his first number on the ranking since his production on Drake’s “Nice for What”.
Regarding the Streaming Songs chart, “Fefe” concurrently sits at the number 2 spot. This chart takes account all types of streams, including programmed and video views, earning 51.3 million streams total. This is up 10 percent from the previous week. Drake still leads the chart with “In My Feelings”, with 59.4 million streams.
Most noteworthy, “Fefe” has not yet been added to a 6ix9ine album or project. However, the track was added to the streaming edition of Minaj’s latest release, Queen, on August 15th.
