Meek Mill Lands 15 Songs on Hot 100
As Meek Mill is celebrating his second number 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, the Philadelphia based rapper lands 15 songs on the Hot 100. Thanks to Championships opening with 229,000 equivalent album units, Meek has found his way to the top once again. Don’t call it a comeback. However, “Going Bad” featuring Drake is leading the set at number. Most noteworthy, this is Mills first top 10. Additionally, with this song, Drake tallies his 33rd top 10, extending his record for most among male soloists. Worth mentioning, Drake only trails Madonna, with 38, and The Beatles with 34, among all acts.
Among high-profile features, Meek Mill featuring Rick Ross and Jay-Z’s “What’s Free” debuts at number 20. This is good for the second-highest ranking song from the album. These two features earn Meek his first and second top 20 hits. Additionally, Meek has charted a song apart from his album. Featuring on Lil Baby’s “Time” debuting at number 62. This song appears on Lil Baby’s new album, Street Gossip, which debuted at number 2 behind Meek with 88,000 equivalent units. Lil Baby also had a big week on the Hot 100, charting nine tracks in total.

Jay becomes the eighth artist to reach at least 50 top 40 placements, tying The Beatles and Rihanna. Most noteworthy, Jay-Z is one appearance from the sixth act with at least 100 entries overall behind acts such as Drake, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Elvis Presley. Not bad company. In related news, Cardi B earns her 24th Hot 100 entry in 2018, tying Lil Wayne for third-most behind Drake and Travis Scott.
