Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber Make history on Streaming Songs Chart
“10,000 Hours” the new release from Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber has made history on the Streaming Songs chart. This track becomes the highest-charting non-holiday country track in the chart’s history passing Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise” from six years ago. Debuting at number 3 on the chart dated for October 19th, “Hours” has earned 33.3 million streams in the week. This data is according to Nielsen Music which tracks industry data. Furthermore, this is the best-charting non-holiday country song in the history of the chart, which was born in January 2013. Additionally, it is also just the third non-holiday country song to reach Streaming Songs top 10 and second to do it in 2019.
Additionally, Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber have found themselves on top of the Hot Country Songs Chart as well. Most noteworthy, Bieber has now topped seven multi-metric song charts. As the track takes a massive leap from number 40 to number 1 on Billboard’s airplay, streaming, and sales based Hot Country Songs chart, following the first week of tracking. The country duo Dan + Shay boast a third number 1 with this track. “10,000 Hours” was written by the trio with additional help from Jessie Jo Dillon, Jordan Reynolds, and Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd.
