Marshmello Leads Streaming Songs with Juice WRLD
Juice WRLD and Marshmello teamed up for the song “Come & Go” which becomes the fourth song to lead the Streaming Songs chart with its debut in 2020. Furthermore, this song scores 36.4 million U.S. streams within its first earning week. However, most noteworthy, the song hits the number 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 which ranks all songs for the week. Juice’s posthumous album, “Legends Never Die” takes over the top spot on the Billboard 200 with a little under 500,000 album units. Nielsen Music reports 497,000 units to be exact. This is the biggest opening week for an album for the year so far.
Additionally, Juice WRLD is now the third artist in history to have at least 5 simultaneous top 10s. Joining the likes of Drake and The Beatles, Juice has five songs from the 17 track album Legends Never Die in the top 10. The Marshmello collaboration “Come & Go” sits at number 2, “Wishing Well” at 5, “Conversations” at 7, “Life’s a Mess” with Halsey at 9, and “Hate the Other Side” with Marshmello, Polo G, and The Kid Laroi at 10. All 17 songs from the album have charted within the top 51 spots.
Marshmello also hit number 1 on the Hot 100 producers’ chart for the first time in his career. With three productions in the Hot 100, he is generating a lot of buzz at the moment. The three songs are Juice WRLD’s “Come & Go”, “Hate The Other Side”, and Halsey’s “Be Kind”. Especially relevant, many producers from Juice’s album have seen success on the Hot 100 Producers chart this week. Super producer Dr Luke sits at number 2, Rex Kudo at number 4, Nick Mira at number 5, and Charlie Handsome at number 6.
