Ella Langley continues her dominant run as “Choosin’ Texas” secures a seventh nonconsecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The track first reached the summit in mid February and has remained one of the year’s most consistent performers across streaming, radio and sales.

At the same time, her album Dandelion debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking a rare double victory. Langley becomes just the second woman ever to top both charts simultaneously with country releases, following Taylor Swift, who achieved the feat in 2021 with re recorded material. Langley stands alone as the first to accomplish it with entirely new music.

The success extends beyond a single hit. Fellow Dandelion track “Be Her” climbs to a new peak of No. 4 on the Hot 100, giving Langley two songs inside the top five at the same time. She becomes the first woman primarily rooted in country music to chart her first two top five hits simultaneously in that region.

On the Hot Country Songs chart, “Choosin’ Texas” logs a commanding 21st week at No. 1, while “Be Her” holds at its No. 2 peak. Both songs also maintain strong positions on Country Airplay, underscoring their broad appeal.

“It was such a crazy moment,” Langley shared about her first Hot 100 No. 1. “We loved the song when we wrote it, but none of us thought it would be the one to do everything it’s doing. It keeps giving us a reason to celebrate new milestones.”

During the April 10 to 16 tracking week, “Choosin’ Texas” earned 30.7 million streams, 42.5 million in radio airplay audience and 10,000 in sales in the United States. The track continues its reign on Streaming Songs for an eighth week, holds within the top 10 on Radio Songs and remains a strong seller on Digital Song Sales.

With a chart topping album, a multi week No. 1 single and a second top five hit climbing fast, Ella Langley’s breakout era shows no signs of slowing down.
