No Regrets, Just No. 1s: Karol G’s ‘No Me Arrepiento De Sentir Tanto’ Debuts Atop Top Latin Albums Chart

Karol G has done it again. Her sixth studio album No Me Arrepiento De Sentir Tanto, released August 7 via Bichota, Interscope, and Capitol, debuts at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart dated August 22, ending Bad Bunny‘s historic run with Debí Tirar Más Fotos, which had spent a record 77 nonconsecutive weeks atop the list since the January 24 dated chart. The album also storms Hot Latin Songs with 13 new entries, led by “Ahí,” her collaboration with Drake, which opens at No. 1.

The debut marks Karol G’s fifth consecutive chart-topping entry among seven career album releases, a streak of dominance that only Unstoppable and Ocean interrupted, each peaking at No. 2 in 2017 and 2019 respectively. It arrives just over a year after Tropicoqueta led the same chart for two weeks in July 2025, confirming that whatever creative period she has entered since that record shows no sign of slowing. According to Luminate, No Me Arrepiento De Sentir Tanto opened with 50,000 equivalent album units in the United States during the tracking week of August 7 through 13, with 48,000 of those units derived from streaming activity amounting to 49.5 million official on-demand streams. Album sales comprised just over 1,000 units.

Beyond the Latin charts, the album opens at No. 8 on the all-genre Billboard 200, her fourth top 10 on that chart, while simultaneously reaching No. 1 on Top Latin Pop Albums and landing at No. 7 on Top Streaming Albums. The breadth of those placements across both genre-specific and mainstream charts reflects an artist who stopped being a Latin music story some time ago and became simply a music story.

With five No. 1s now on Top Latin Albums, Karol G has cemented her position as the most dominant female force on the overall Latin albums ranking of the past decade. Only the late Jenni Rivera and Shakira have reached more No. 1 albums among female artists in the chart’s history dating to 1993, each with seven. Karol G is two away from joining them at the top of that list, and given the pace at which she is releasing and the consistency with which those releases are arriving at No. 1, that conversation is no longer hypothetical.

On the tracks side, “Ahí,” her collaboration with Drake, leads the album’s charge onto Hot Latin Songs by opening at No. 1 on the strength of 5.9 million official U.S. streams, which also lands it at No. 46 on the overall Streaming Songs chart and No. 1 on Latin Streaming Songs. Earlier advance singles “Después de Ti,” her duet with Greg González, rises from number 17 to number 10, while “Matadora” moves from four to three. Thirteen additional album tracks join those two already charting titles across Hot Latin Songs, flooding the chart in the way only a fully committed fanbase can produce.
