Bad Bunny and Drake Score 1st Spanish Number 1 on Apple
Bad Bunny and Drake drop the new track “MIA”. It has officially become the first full Spanish-language song to go number 1 on Apple Music’s top Songs Chart in the US. The song was released Thursday and quickly shot to the top spot. However, not only did it place there in the U.S., but also in Mexico, Chile, Panama, Costa Rica, Colombia, Guatemala, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Belize, Bolivia, and Cape Verde. It’s safe to say the artists have themselves an international hit.
In an interview with Apple Music, this is what Bad Bunny had to say… “Obviously this song is an achievement for me in my career, but what makes me really feel good is to make Latinos feel proud. To provoke that pride that a pop figure and someone so big in music globally like Drake would sing with me completely in Spanish and create this hit “Mia”. That’s the best part of it.”
Most noteworthy, “MIA” also launched ¡Dale Play!, which is Apple Music’s new Latin music playlist. This debuted less than 24 hours ago and is already the number 5 playlist on Apple Music. Additionally, “MIA” is the latest track featuring Latin and mainstream artists. It is a common trend in the music industry right now, and it’s been a long time in the making. There has been buzz of the collaboration between Bad Bunny and Drake since early this year. займ онлайн
