Bad Bunny and Berlingeri first met in 2017 at a restaurant in Puerto Rico while he was dining with his father and brother. Their relationship grew both personally and professionally, with Berlingeri appearing as the bride in his 2022 “Tití Me Preguntó” music video. The pair quietly split later that year, after which Bad Bunny went on to date Kendall Jenner from 2023 to 2024.

Despite the breakup, the two have remained close. During a 2022 Instagram Live, Bad Bunny clarified their bond, calling Berlingeri one of his closest confidantes. “Gabriela and I are intimate friends, we are best friends,” he said at the time, noting that they fully support each other’s personal lives.

Speaking to the magazine, the singer praised her emotional support during that period. “This quarantine has made me understand that she is the best companion I could have,” he said.
