Camila Cabello’s First Top 10 on Streaming Songs Chart With ‘Havana’

Camila Cabello has reached the top 10 of Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart with her single “Havana”. The song features Atlanta rapper, Young Thug, and has jumped up the charts from 18 to 7. “Havana” has earned 24.4 million streams in the week of Oct. 26, up 38 percent from the previous.

With 41 percent of the track’s overall streams coming from YouTube, the songs boost in streams can be attributed to the release of the music video. Still, “Havana” has gained momentum on most streaming services and is climbing its’ way up the charts. The song has jumped from 17-11 on the Pop Songs airplay chart and 31-27 on Adult Pop Songs. However, on the Billboard Hot 100, “Havana” becomes Camila’s second top 10, climbing from 20-7.

Cabello’s previous single, “Bad Things”, featuring Machine Gun Kelly peaked at No. 11 on Streaming Songs back in February. “Havana” is Cabello’s first song to chart as the lone lead artist. Camila didn’t quite have the same luck with her song “Crying in the Club”.

Riding the momentum of “Havana”, Young Thug was able to find himself in the top 10 of Streaming Songs as well. Young Thug has also earned his first top 20 as a lead artist with “Patek Water” featuring Future and Migo’s Offset.

The new track “Patek Water” is from Young Thug and Future’s joint mixtape, Super Slimey, and has bowed at No. 20 with 14.3 million streams. Not bad. This is Young Thug’s fourth top 20 record. However, all of the previous have come way of being a featured artist. Most notably, Rich Gang’s “Lifestyle” peaked at No. 4 back in November of 2014.

The number one song on Streaming Songs still belongs to Post Malone’s “Rockstar” featuring 21 Savage, for the fifth week.
