Future Debuts at Number 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums

With this debut, the Atlanta rapper scores the most number 1s in the 2010s decade. However, Future is no stranger to success. As the Atlanta MC find himself on top, he also one-ups Drake for the most number 1 albums on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in the 2010s. For the week dated June 22nd, “Save Me” opens up on top. This secures the rappers 10th number 1 in the decade, breaking a tie with the Toronto rapper.  Especially relevant, ‘Save Me’ starts off with 42,000 equivalent album units earned in the first week, reported by Nielsen Music.

This isn’t the first time that the two rappers have traded the most number 1 albums this decade. In 2017 alone, Future scored three chart-topping albums. First off with his self-titled set, then HNDRXX, followed by Super Slimey which was a collaborative effort with Young Thug. Most noteworthy, the trio of albums all spent one week on top and pushed the artist to seven number 1s. This caught him up with Drake who also boasted his seventh number 1 that year with More Life.

Furthermore, in 2018, Future and Drake each added to their number 1 counts with eight each. The collaboration album with Juice WRLD gave the Atlanta artist his follow up, and Drake scored another with Scorpion. This brings us to this year where each rapper scored their 9th. However, Drake repurposed an older project with So Far Gone when he relaunched it for the 10th anniversary.

Additionally, “Save Me” also opens at number 1 on the Top Rap Albums chart, which secures Future’s 10th number 1 there as well. Especially relevant, the album also finds itself at number 5 on the all-genre Billboard 200. Four songs from the EP find their way on to the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart giving the MC 129 hits on the ranking. In this regard, he only trails behind the career sums of Drake, Lil Wayne, and Jay-Z. Not bad company to keep. займ на карту без отказов круглосуточно
