Kanye West Looking for Number 1 Debut with Jesus Is King
Kanye West has just released his highly anticipated new album entitled “Jesus Is King”. Furthermore, the album is heading for a number 1 debut on the Billboard 200 Chart, according to music industry experts. Those with knowledge are suggesting the album that was released on October 25th, via G.O.O.D Music and Def Jam Recordings may find itself on top of the list with perhaps in the range of 230,000 to 260,000 equivalent album units earned. This is for the U.S. tracking in the week ending October 31st. Most noteworthy, if Jesus Is King lands in the top spot, this will give Kanye West his ninth consecutive number 1 debut on the chart. This would tie for the record with Eminem who also boasts nine consecutive number 1s and the most debuts at number 1 in a row.
Especially relevant, The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption. This units are comprised of traditional album sales, track equivalent albums, and streaming equivalent albums. If the Louis Vuitton Don does in fact take the top spot, it will be on the November 9th dated chart. West’s last album was released in 2018, titled Ye, debuted on top of the Billboard 200 with 208,000 equivalent album units earned. Of that total, 85,000 were in traditional album sales. These numbers are reported by Nielsen Music.
It will be interesting to see where else Kanye West charts with this album. If you can not tell by the title, this album is a Christian album and could wind up on Gospel charts as well. Additionally, it is sure to find its way on top of the Rap & Hip Hop charts. займы на карту без отказа
