KATSEYE’s Pinky Up Tops Billboard Fan Poll as Favorite New Music

KATSEYE scores a fan driven win as “Pinky Up” lands at No. 1 on Billboard’s latest new music poll, earning the majority of votes from listeners.

The high energy single captured 50 percent of the vote in the poll published April 10, outperforming new releases from Lady Gaga and Doechii, as well as tracks from Tiny Habits and The Strokes.

“Pinky Up” marks the group’s first release while member Manon is on hiatus and showcases KATSEYE’s signature blend of bold pop energy and sharp choreography. The track was written by Justin Tranter and produced by dwilly, “hitman” bang and FRANTS, delivering a hyper pop sound built for both streaming and live performance.

The single arrived alongside a visually striking music video directed by Bardia Zeinali, further amplifying its high fashion and dance driven concept.

KATSEYE also debuted “Pinky Up” live at Coachella, where the performance drew strong crowd reactions. Speaking after the set, member Daniela shared her excitement, calling the debut “fire” and praising the energy of the dance break.

Megan echoed the sentiment, describing the track as one of the group’s favorites and highlighting its confident, hard hitting sound.

Among the runners up in the poll, “Runway” by Lady Gaga and Doechii placed second with 12 percent of the vote, followed by “Right in Front of Me” by Tiny Habits with 10 percent.

With “Pinky Up” earning both fan support and a strong live debut, KATSEYE continues to build momentum as one of pop’s rising global acts.
