The set bows at No. 2 on Top Album Sales, marking Tomlinson’s third top-five entry on the tally. It also opens at No. 2 on Top Current Album Sales and Vinyl Albums, while launching at No. 3 on both Independent Albums and Indie Store Album Sales.
On the all-genre Billboard 200, How Did I Get Here? enters at No. 16, becoming the singer-songwriter’s third top 20-charting album. The project earned 26,000 equivalent album units in the United States during the week ending Jan. 29, according to Luminate, driven largely by 21,000 in pure album sales.
The album arrives amid a competitive week on the Top Album Sales chart, where five titles debut in the top 10. Megadeth’s self-titled album opens at No. 1 with 69,000 copies sold, marking the band’s biggest sales week since 1999 and the strongest showing for a hard rock album since Sleep Token’s Even in Arcadia bowed with 73,000 copies last May.
Elsewhere in the top 10, ENHYPEN’s THE SIN : VANISH drops from No. 1 to No. 3 in its second week with 19,000 sold, while Stray Kids’ DO IT rises 5-4 with 11,000 copies. XG earns its first-ever top 10 as THE CORE debuts at No. 5 with 8,000 sold, followed by Poppy’s Empty Hands at No. 6 and The Format’s Boycott Heaven at No. 7.
Rounding out the chart, KATSEYE’s SIS (Soft Is Strong) climbs to No. 9, while Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving settles at No. 10.
With How Did I Get Here?, Tomlinson continues his steady chart presence, reinforcing his status as a consistent sales force in the current album landscape.
