Luke Bryan’s New Album Debuts on Top Country Albums Chart
Country Superstar Luke Bryan is back with his ninth number 1 on the Top Country Albums chart. “Born Here Live Here Die Here” is the eighth album of Luke’s to debut in the top spot. Earning a cool 65,000 album units within its first week with 48,000 coming from traditional album sales. Furthermore, among all albums the set lands at number five. Most noteworthy, this gives the Country singer his 11th top 10. Not bad. From the album’s track list – three songs have all found their way to the top of Country Airplay. ‘Knockin Boots’, ‘What She Wants Tonight’, and ‘One Margarita’ have all led the chart at some point since their release. Especially relevant, Luke’s last time leading the Top Country Albums chart was with his 2017 album ‘What Makes You Country’. This most recent leads the artist to his fourth number 1 debut in a row, with the first album leading the pack in 2015, ‘Kill the Lights’.
Looking at the single ‘One Margarita’, we can see that it is the fastest song in 2020 to reach to peak on the Country Airplay chart. The track rose from 2 to 1 back in July and gained a 13% increase from 32.8 million audience impressions in its first week. All data is tracked and reported by Nielsen Music. With ‘One Margarita’ being the third number 1 from the album – it is easy to see why Luke Bryan is having such success. The album was originally slated to release back in April but was delayed due to tour planning and the current pandemic. However, the tour is now scheduled to launch in May 2021.
It should be noted that Luke Bryan has the sixth-most Country Airplay number 1s, only trailing Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Alan Jackson, George Strait, and Kenny Chesney. Keep an eye on the charts to see how Luke continues to do over the coming weeks. микрозайм онлайн
