Rexx Life Raj – Somewhere Out There

A cold New York crowd filled Chelsea Music Hall and patiently waited for Rexx Life Raj to warm their souls with performances off his new album, “Father Figure 3: Somewhere Out There”.

Rexx Life started the show with his dreamlike melody, The Fog. Fitting, being that the California rapper was feeling a little under the weather due to the east-coast climate change. However, Rexx Life did not let that stop him from turning up. The room was quick to respond, already knowing the lyrics to his new hit single, Moonwalk.

Vulnerability is something Rexx Life is not afraid to express. Songs like Time and Falling exposes his soft and honest responses to life’s hardships and real-life relationships. His humble and humorous personality shines not only through his lyrics, but also his performance on stage as well.

You shouldn’t let Rexx Life’s openness fool you though. The introspective rapper showed the crowd he is indestructible with hits like Level Up and Shit n’ Floss both off of older projects. Rexx Life kept a good dynamic the whole show and his day one fans showed they were in attendance, knowing every word to his classics.

From playing D1 football at Boise State to performing his first headline tour, Rexx Life has had quite the journey. This project had some big-name features like Kehlani, Russ, Bas and Kenny Beats. It may not be his start, but it’s only the beginning for Rexx Life Raj. He will be finishing the Somewhere Out There tour on the west-coast, naturally where he is from. Keep up with all he is doing on his socials:
