Thomas Rhett Scores 14th Country Airplay Number 1
Country superstar Thomas Rhett has just landed his 14th number 1 on the Country Airplay chart. His new song “Remember You Young” jumps from 3 to 1 and gives the artist his eighth leader. With a 7% gain to 37.8 million audience impressions this week, the song has gained enough steam to climb. This is reported by Nielsen Music and will continue to be tracked. Furthermore, Rhett co-wrote “Remember” with Ashley Gorley and Jesse Frasure. Most noteworthy, this song is the second single from the album “Center Point Road” following “Look What God Gave Her” which led Country Airplay back in June.
As Thomas Rhett reflects back on this track, he says that it is one of his favorite songs from the album. Additionally, the artist considers it one of the most special songs written in his career. Having re-wrote it twice, the second time really captured what the writers wanted to say. The song is about seeing the most important people in your life, whether it is your family, your babies, wife, or best friends you grew up with.
The album Center Point Road is Rhett’s fourth full-length album and debuted on top of the Billboard 200 and Top Country Albums charts back in June. It is one of two country albums to lead the all-genre Billboard 200 this year. Luke Combs is the other, he topped the album with “What You See Is What You Get” in November.
For Thomas Rhett, with his latest song, he is now the longest active run of consecutive leaders for Country Airplay. However, Combs is close behind with seven which encompass all of his opening singles. Old Dominion ranks third with six. Prior to this release, Thomas had last reigned Country Airplay with “Sixteen” from his album Life Changes – the first album of his to score five number ones. микрозаймы онлайн
